Sunday Scoop link-up with The Teaching Trio

We are linking up with The Teaching Trio for today's Sunday Scoop.

Here's our FIRST Sunday Scoop!!

We have had a great start to the school year with our 3rd graders! Our kiddos came back on Wednesday! It has been so wonderful getting to know them. We often forget how exhausting those first few days of school are! From organizing school supplies to going over rules and expectations....we were EXHAUSTED by lunch time each day!

We will be starting our "normal" routine this upcoming week. We are excited to get started on our actual scheduling and teaching!

Since we are still new to blogging, we hope to keep everyone updated each week! We'd love to hear from you! Don't forget to find us on Blog Lovin' so you can see our updates!

Have a blessed Sunday and a wonderful week ahead!

  1. We still have another week before school starts but I'm already exhausted getting everything ready. Yes, those first few weeks are more than tiring! I wish teachers could take a nap! I have twenty kiddos so far...much better than the 24 I had two years ago!

    1. AHHHH, 24?! I couldn't imagine! We have 20 (each) this year! It's nice to have smaller class sizes! I also agree with the teacher nap time! ;)

  2. I teach 3rd as well, and my students start Wednesday. I'm always a little nervous since they're really a bunch of people I don't know! They're little but still strangers! I'm sure by Wednesday afternoon I'll adore them. I'll look forward to your updates! Have a great week.

    1. Those first few days were rough, but we've started off GREAT this week! We tried to start as much routine as we could last week! Good luck this year! :)

    1. It was SO nice to start that routine today....even though we didn't get to as much as I would have liked. ;) It takes practice to get them working at a good pace! (I always forget that each year!)
